Founded in 1942, the Antigonish Diocesan Society is the only organization of its kind in Canada. Its primary purpose is to financially support the education of young men from the Diocese of Antigonish for the priesthood.
Under the patronage of the Bishop of Antigonish, the Society operates under the leadership of a Board of Directors made up of representatives from across eastern Nova Scotia and Cape Breton.
Fondée en 1942, la Société diocésaine d’Antigonish est la seule organisation de ce type au Canada. Son objectif principal est de soutenir financièrement les études de jeunes hommes du diocèse d’Antigonish en vue de la prêtrise.
Placée sous le patronage de l’évêque d’Antigonish, la Société fonctionne sous la direction d’un conseil d’administration composé de représentants de l’est de la Nouvelle-Écosse et du Cap-Breton.
